Over the past few weeks I have enjoyed many excellent bands and artists at the Black Water. While it is hard to choose a favorite. I really enjoy hearing the Madru Brothers. I look forward to seeing them again this coming Thursday. Dec, 13th

i really enjoy hearing these bands that are "amatures" because alot of the time they sound better than bands who are big and well known. i really enjoy when the rockabilly psychobilly bands come out it is always so great!! i would love to hear some hillbilly bluegrass bands appalacian mtn style thats what i love!!!

I was wondering if you've ever had a metal band play at the black Water and if not, would it be something you would be interested in? Or would it go against the coffee house environment?

well i have heard that there will some great hillbilly bluegrass rockabilly mtn music in may i think! with the incredible band The Stumblin' Do Dirtys! yes im so excited!! come in style baby!! bare footed hairy hillbillies with our chickens peckin' and a poopin!! haha

The opening act last night was really amazing! I loved their version of Message in a Bottle. I hope to see them again.

Does anyone know what their name is? They were a trio with a bassist, keyboardist/singer, and a guy doing beat boxing.
