Well, it's getting better all the time isn't it? I had a fun time on the twelfth. And the week before my friend Evonne was great. Tony and his keyboardist were great. Stephanie and the girls singing that "Oh Brother Where Art Thou Syren Song, Down to the River and Pray" nailed it good with about 10 minutes of practice, and good ol' Jon Vogel gave some good tea and sympathy and sounded great.

Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed going to Open Mic Nights. I knew there were some great musicians in town, but if Lisa & Dave hadn't mentioned the great experiences they'd had there, I would have missed out on hearing some wonderful people. Plus, I never would have even considered trying to play some tunes solo.

On my way to a Music tour of Oregon, I will be in Stockton on Aug 20th. I sure would like to play at your Open-Mic that night !!...Sounds like you have a fun place. If anyone could let me know how many songs you get to play,& sign-up time...that would be cool !!

This last Wednesday was such a great show, with the Volgar Morans doing my favorite "Sarah Song" and of course "Give Me Some Head". And Jay your a wonderful singer also. Thanks for a wonderful birthday evening...
